Let us start out by saying we think Bodemeister will be a tough horse to beat here. Lets rewind one year when Shackleford held the lead at the derby into the stretch before being passed. This year Bodemeister held that lead even deeper into the stretch before being passed. Shackleford came back 2 weeks later to win the Preakness. Could the same happen again? It’s likely as we suspect Bodemeister to be a bit better than Shackleford and we must not be alone since he is 8/5. But at 8/5 we can not make much money. So, we are going to go after a longshot to pull the upset, and at 20/1 that would be Zetterholm. On Friday at Pimlico we saw many horses coming from off the pace to catch the speed, if that holds true, Zetterholm could be sitting on a big one!
